Digitally coloring pencil sketches on my phone is a mixed-media process I’ve come to love. It’s flexible, lightweight, an easy way to bring my sketches to another level, and a method that encourages looseness and flow. My sketching process is all about pushing concepts, shapes, design, and gesture and not being afraid to be weird and loose, and bringing raw pencil-ings into the digital realm creates a space where I can take the ideas I generate and realize them even further through color, effects, layering, and collage.
